Bharti Airtel,GAIL(India) and Tata Motors mirrored their strong performance on the BSE to emerge among the top gainers on the NSE as well.
At 11. 10 a.m on Thursday Bharti Airtel was trading at Rs 308.95, up 2.34 per cent on its over night close of Rs 301.90. Yesterday, the company announced it had posted a 115 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 610 crore.
GAIL(India) spurted up 1.47 per cent to trade at Rs 351.10. It had closed yesterday's session at Rs 346. In Results announced yesterday,the company reported that its net profit had risen by 31 per cent at Rs 1,679 crore.
Lupin perked up 1.09 per cent to quote at Rs 875.70 as against wednesday,s finish at Rs 866.25.
Tata Motors sped up 0.80 per cnet to trade at Rs 354.55. The stock had closed wednesday's session at Rs 351.75.
HCL Technologies was up narrowly at Rs 1,425.55 as against Rs 1,422.30 at close on wednesday. This represented a gain of 0.23 per cent.
