Metal and pharma sector stocks were in the limelight on the BSE on Friday morning.
At 11 a.m. Tata Steel was the top gainer on the BSE, quoting at Rs 374.90 as against Rs 361.35 at close on Thursday. This represented a gain of 3.75 per cent.
Sesa Sterlite was quoting at Rs 188.65 as against as 183.25 at close overnight. This was a gain of 2.95 per cent.
Sun Pharma Industries was trading at Rs 600.90, up 2.74 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 584.90.
Tata Power extended yesterday's firm run to trade at Rs 76.55, up 1.73 per cent on its earlier close of Rs 75.25.
Dr Reddys Laboratories was trading at Rs 2,635.10, up 1.45 per cent on Thursday's close of Rs 2,597.35.
